University of Mpumalanga (UMP)

The University of Mpumalanga (UMP), located in the picturesque Province of the Rising Sun, offers an inspiring environment for both staff and students. Established in 2013, UMP welcomed its first cohort of 169 students in February 2014, offering three programs: Bachelor of Education (Foundation Phase Teaching), Bachelor of Agriculture in Agricultural Extension and Rural Resource Development, and a Diploma in ICT. Since then, the University has experienced rapid and rewarding growth. By 2024, UMP now offers 72 qualifications to a student body of 10,091.
