Michaelhouse is one of South Africa’s oldest and most renowned independent boarding schools for boys, founded in 1896 by the Anglican Canon James Cameron Todd and located in the Balgowan valley of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. A full-boarding Anglican senior school for Grades 8 to 12, its pupils write the IEB examinations and the school maintains a celebrated rivalry with neighbouring Hilton College.
