IMM Graduate School

The IMM Graduate School is a specialist private higher education institution and one of South Africa’s most established distance-learning providers, focused on marketing, supply chain, project and business management. Its roots run deep: the Institute of Marketing Management was established in 1948, and the IMM Graduate School has provided industry-endorsed distance-learning qualifications since 1960. Over the decades it has graduated more than 19,000 students, many of whom hold senior positions locally and internationally, and it enrols students from more than 20 countries across Africa and beyond. It forms part of the UXi Education group.

The IMM Graduate School is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a Private Higher Education Institution under the Higher Education Act (registration certificate number 2000/HE07/013), is quality-assured by the Council on Higher Education, and has its qualifications registered on the National Qualifications Framework by SAQA. It offers a clear progression of qualifications – from higher certificates and diplomas to bachelor’s degrees, honours and master’s-level programmes – chiefly in marketing management, supply chain management, project management and business.

A distinctive strength is its international recognition: the IMM Graduate School is the only institution in South Africa accredited by the UK’s Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), and selected supply chain qualifications are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
