Curro Roodeplaat is an independent, co-educational, English-medium school in Kameeldrift, on the scenic banks of the Roodeplaat Dam north-east of Pretoria, part of the Curro group. It educates learners from age two through to Grade 12 across a preschool, primary school and high school, and writes the IEB National Senior Certificate.

Built on a Christian ethos and values, the school teaches the national CAPS curriculum through Curro’s project-based, self-discovery approach, with small classes (capped at around 25) for individual attention and positive discipline. A focus on “individuation” – a personal development plan for each child – sits alongside future-focused learning, including Robotics and specialised electives such as Dance Studies; benchmarking through external tests, Olympiads and the IEB helps maintain high standards. A private college sharing the campus offers NCV (National Certificate Vocational) programmes from Level 2 to Level 4 as a career-focused alternative for Grades 10 to 12 (subject to availability), and the wider Curro group also runs the fully online Curro Online IEB school.

Academics are balanced with a full programme of sport and culture. Set on a safe, modern campus in beautiful natural surroundings near several estates and golf courses, the school offers well-equipped specialist classrooms, aftercare and a transport service. As part of the Curro group, learners enjoy preference when applying to other Curro schools. Full fee and admissions details are available directly from the school.
