Glenwood House School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school in George, set at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains on the Garden Route. Established in 2006 by parents seeking superior private education in the area, it has grown into one of the region’s leading schools – affectionately known as a “Jewel of the Garden Route” – and now operates under the ADvTECH group, within its Trinityhouse Schools brand. The school educates children from its early years through to Grade 12 across its pre-primary, preparatory and college phases, with flexible weekly and termly co-ed boarding available from Grade 8 to Grade 12.

With an overt Christian ethos, Glenwood House is committed to the holistic growth of each child – academically, socially, spiritually and personally – viewing every student as a unique individual deserving of an environment that nurtures identity and self-worth. The College is affiliated to the Independent Examinations Board (IEB), and learners exit with the internationally portable IEB National Senior Certificate. The school has an outstanding academic record, with a 100% IEB matric pass rate since inception and averages consistently above both IEB and national norms, supported by a future-focused, digitally enriched curriculum that emphasises critical thinking, creativity and global understanding, alongside a strong commitment to Respect, Diversity and Inclusion.

Co-curricular life is rich, with sport including athletics, hockey, netball, rugby, cricket, swimming, water polo, tennis and golf, and a vibrant cultural programme of drama, choirs, press club and visual arts – enhanced by the Garden Route’s forests, rivers and coastline. Full fee and admissions details are available directly from the school.
