Curro Thatchfield is an independent, co-educational school in Thatchfield Hills, Centurion, part of the Curro group. It educates learners from three months old through to Grade 12 across a preschool, primary school and high school, with English as the language of instruction, and writes the IEB National Senior Certificate.

The school teaches the national CAPS curriculum through Curro’s project-based, self-discovery approach, with small classes (capped at around 25) for individual attention. Technology and creativity are emphasised through Robotics, while primary learners also take Setswana and high-school electives extend to Drama and Visual Arts. A distinctive feature is the private college sharing its campus, which offers NCV (National Certificate Vocational) programmes from Level 2 to Level 4 – a workplace-focused alternative pathway for Grades 10 to 12 – so learners can choose an academic or vocational route after Grade 9 while remaining in a familiar school environment. An on-site therapy team (speech, occupational and educational psychologists) supports learners who need it.

Academics are balanced with a full programme of sport and culture. Facilities are extensive, including two robotics labs, three science labs, two computer labs and an art studio, plus an athletics track, hockey and soccer fields, an indoor heated swimming pool, an obstacle course, and tennis and netball courts.

The school also offers aftercare and a wide-reaching transport service across Centurion and Midrand. Full fee and admissions details are available directly from the school.
