Dainfern College is an independent, non-profit, co-educational day school adjoining the Dainfern Estate in Fourways, north of Johannesburg. Based on a Christian ethos and catering for students from Grade 0 to Grade 12, it has grown from a small school of 37 children at its founding into a leading institution of around 950 pupils, housed in some of the most modern school architecture in the country.

As a proudly independent, stand-alone school, Dainfern reinvests its resources directly into its students. Its education is values-based – built on the core values of Fortitude, Integrity, Self-discipline, Humanity, Accountability and Respect – and holistic, balancing five pillars of academics, sport, culture, leadership and service. The College is a global member of the Round Square network, embracing the IDEALS of Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership and Service, and places strong emphasis on innovation, digital literacy, entrepreneurship and student well-being.

Academically, students write the IEB National Senior Certificate, and since 2020 the College has also offered Cambridge International AS and A Levels as an option from Grade 11, with graduates progressing to top universities locally and abroad.

Sport and culture are central, with world-class facilities including a full-sized Astro hockey field, a dedicated cricket academy (home to the Old Lions Cricket Club), extensive rugby and soccer fields, two swimming pools and a high-performance centre, alongside a vibrant cultural programme and community-service initiatives. Dainfern is a day school (no boarding); full fee and admissions details are available directly from the school.
