Maragon Olympus
Maragon Olympus is an independent, co-educational, Christ-centred private school in Olympus, Pretoria East, and one of the leading private-school brands in the city. It provides pre-primary and primary education (from Grade 000 to Grade 7), from which learners progress to Maragon Mooikloof High School, the group’s separate Grade 8 to 12 campus serving the same community. The school follows the IEB curriculum.
Maragon has a proud legacy: it was established in 1998 by the Doxa Deo Church with just 52 learners, and the Doxa Deo East School was rebranded as Maragon Private Schools Olympus in 2014 following a partnership under the Maravest banner. Its educational model blends academic excellence with spiritual growth, nurturing well-rounded young people who embody integrity, compassion and leadership. Teaching follows the rigorous, internationally recognised IEB curriculum, adapted to reflect a Christ-centred lifestyle and worldview, with a deliberate focus on global competency skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity, and a blended-learning approach that puts each learner’s development first.
Set in a nurturing, future-focused environment with a strong sense of community, Maragon Olympus emphasises early childhood development and a smooth foundation-to-primary journey, supported by modern facilities and caring staff. Academics are balanced with sport, culture and spiritual life. Full fee and admissions details are available directly from the school.
