Cornerstone College is an independent Christian co-educational school in Silverton, Pretoria, educating learners from Grade R to Grade 12, with a hostel for boarders. Founded in 1991 by Sally and Rob Hurlin as a Christian calling and in response to South Africa’s education crisis, its founding vision was to create a disciplined, secure Christian environment offering the best possible education at the lowest possible cost – and to invest in the country’s future by giving young people a strong educational foundation. Today it is a sizeable school of around 1,350 students.

The College pursues excellence in the holistic development of responsible young people – academically, physically, socially, spiritually and morally – placing strong emphasis on each child’s individuality and special talents. A disciplined environment and Christian values, with an ethos drawn from Philippians 4:8-9, provide security and guidance, and the school upholds the values of honesty, industry, respect and perseverance, aiming to be a place of safety for all.

For families who live far away or need boarding, the Tlhokomelo Residence offers a safe, nurturing “home away from home” for students from Grade 6. Academics are balanced with sport and cultural activities that help each learner discover and develop their abilities.

Set on its Silverton campus on Moreleta Street, Cornerstone College remains committed to transparent, affordable education for every family. Full fee and admissions details are available directly from the school.
