Crawford International Lonehill
Crawford International Lonehill is an independent, co-educational school in Lonehill, in Johannesburg’s northern suburbs, and one of the Crawford International schools belonging to the Schools Division of the JSE-listed ADvTECH group. An all-through school, it educates children from 14 months old through to Grade 12 across a Pre-Primary, Preparatory and College, offering a modern, globally minded education centred on a personalised, mentored learning journey.
The school blends international benchmarking with South African qualifications. Its Pre-Primary and Preparatory phases form part of an authorised International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), developing active, caring, globally aware lifelong learners. Across all phases students follow the national CAPS curriculum (quality assured by Umalusi), and at College they prepare for the IEB National Senior Certificate, choosing from a wide, flexible subject range with individually timetabled options and the possibility of an eight-subject programme. A dedicated counselling team guides subject choice, careers and tertiary applications, including for universities abroad, while MAP assessments track each student’s growth.
Beyond academics, Crawford Lonehill embeds leadership, service and environmental responsibility into school life as a registered Eco-School, with outreach and community initiatives developing empathy and a strong sense of community. Co-curricular life spans sport, culture and service.
Set on a well-equipped campus, the school offers the stability and ongoing investment of being part of the ADvTECH group, and follows an “all-inclusive” fee model; full fee and admissions details are available directly from the school.
