Curro Serengeti is an independent, co-educational school in Glen Marais, Kempton Park, adjacent to the Serengeti Golf and Wildlife Estate on Johannesburg’s East Rand (Ekurhuleni) – just off the R21 and less than 15 minutes from OR Tambo International Airport. Part of the Curro group, it educates learners from three months old through to Grade 12 across a preschool, primary school and high school, and writes the IEB National Senior Certificate.

The school teaches the national CAPS curriculum through Curro’s project-based, self-discovery approach, modelling positive behaviour based on Christian values, with small classes (capped at around 25) for individual attention. Technology is integrated – high-school learners use laptops with Office 365 and MS Teams – and Robotics runs up to Grade 7, with isiZulu offered as a subject. Senior pupils can also access additional elective subjects taught live online by Curro teachers, and an on-campus team provides academic and pastoral support.

Academics are balanced with a full programme of sport and culture. The stunning campus offers excellent facilities: an AstroTurf and grass hockey fields, rugby and soccer fields, cricket nets, softball diamonds, an indoor heated swimming pool, tennis and netball courts, and an auditorium, alongside specialist classrooms for Engineering Graphics and Design, Hospitality Studies, the sciences and visual arts. A school transport service is available; full fee and admissions details are available from the school.
