Nizamiye Primary and High School is an independent, co-educational private school with an Islamic ethos in Midrand, between Johannesburg and Pretoria, established by the Fountain Educational Trust. Part of the wider Nizamiye community – home to the landmark Nizamiye Mosque and complex – it educates learners from Grade RR through to Grade 12 across Foundation, Intermediate and Senior phases, with English as the medium of instruction, and prepares students for the National Senior Certificate (matric).

Built on the philosophy that “heart and mind meet,” the school blends academic excellence with character, cultural enrichment and Islamic values, within a racially, culturally and socio-economically diverse community that welcomes all learners. It has achieved a 100% matric pass rate, supported by a rigorous, university-focused curriculum, careful subject choices aligned to each learner’s strengths, and extensive academic support including free Saturday tuition and extra classes. From Grade 8, talented students take part in Olympiads, with selected pupils competing internationally. Alongside the core curriculum, learners study subjects such as Turkish and Islamic Studies, and entry is by an admission and scholarship assessment.

Set within the impressive Nizamiye Complex, the school offers world-class facilities and a strong sense of community and service. Academics are balanced with sport, culture and values-based development. Full fee and admissions details are available directly from the school.
