Beaulieu College
Beaulieu College is an independent, co-educational high school set in the peaceful countryside of Kyalami, Midrand, between Johannesburg and Pretoria. Established in 2000 and now part of the Kyalami Schools Group – a family of five independent schools running from pre-school through high school – it educates pupils from Grade 8 to Grade 12 and writes the IEB National Senior Certificate. The college celebrated 25 years of excellence in 2025.
Guided by its I CARE values (Integrity, Consistency, Accountability, Respect and Excellence), Beaulieu aims to develop well-rounded, globally minded young adults through a balanced blend of academics, sport, culture and service. Small classes (a pupil-teacher ratio of around 11:1 and a maximum class size of 27), remediation and mentorship programmes, and a top-achiever extension programme support strong academic outcomes – a 100% matric pass rate since inception, with an average of around 96% achieving Bachelor-degree (university entrance) status.
Co-curricular life is rich and globally oriented, including custom overseas tours and participation in the World Challenge Programme and international exchanges in the Grade 10 year. Service is built in through the active Interact Club, required community-service hours and initiatives such as the Nelson Mandela Schools SleepOut.
The vibrant campus offers specialist music, drama and art classrooms, modern science and technology laboratories, a purpose-built equestrian academy, a hockey Astroturf, multipurpose outdoor fields and a multifunctional indoor sports centre. Full fee and admissions details are available directly from the school.
