Curro Century City is an independent, co-educational school in the vibrant Century City precinct of Cape Town, and part of the national Curro group. It offers the Curro education across a primary school (Grade R to Grade 7) and a high school (Grade 8 to Grade 12), with a preschool catering for younger children from around age three. Teaching is in English, and the school writes the IEB matric examination at the end of Grade 12.

Class sizes are capped at around 25 learners so that each child receives personal attention, and the national CAPS curriculum is delivered through Curro’s signature project-based learning and self-discovery approach – using research, experiments and assignments to take learning beyond the textbook while developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Specialised subjects include Robotics, additional languages such as Afrikaans and isiXhosa are offered, and the Curro Choice initiative provides access to a wider range of subjects through live online lessons. The school’s ethos is grounded in Christian values, encouraging learners to express their individuality within healthy boundaries and to take responsibility for their actions.

Academics are balanced with a range of sport and cultural activities – from cycling to a photography club – that build teamwork, confidence and leadership, and the school offers aftercare and school transport. As part of the Curro group, learners enjoy preference when applying to other Curro schools. Full fee and admissions details are available directly from the school.
