Reddam House Constantia
Reddam House Constantia is a premium, co-educational, non-denominational independent school set in the beautiful Constantia Valley in Cape Town’s southern suburbs, opposite the Steenberg vineyard and golf estate. Part of the Reddam House group within the global Inspired Education family, it welcomes day students from age 1 to Grade 12 – around 1,150 learners – and writes the IEB National Senior Certificate.
The school follows the internationally respected IEB curriculum, with a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach in the early years, and nurtures each student’s individuality, talent and self-assurance in a secure, relaxed and self-disciplined environment. Its teachers are experienced IEB examiners and markers who take a personalised approach, and the academic record is outstanding: a 100% IEB pass rate, with the 2025 cohort achieving more than 300 subject distinctions. As an Inspired school, students enjoy access to a worldwide network – summer camps, student exchanges, expert university counselling and guaranteed entry to Inspired boarding schools across the globe – with English the language of instruction and French and Spanish offered as additional languages.
Facilities are world-class, including art, drama, dance and music studios, science and IT labs, a well-resourced library, a multi-purpose hall, an indoor aquatics centre and outdoor pool, a water-based astroturf, cricket ovals, football fields, and netball and tennis courts – supported by campus wifi and solar power. Co-curricular life spans sport, drama, dance, music, public speaking and more, with on-site speech and occupational therapy available.
Recent fees range from around R98,000 in the early grades to roughly R195,000 in Grade 12; full fee and admissions details are available directly from the school.
