Reddam House Helderfontein

Reddam House Helderfontein is a premium, co-educational, non-denominational private school set in the picturesque Helderfontein Estate Valley in Fourways, north of Johannesburg, close to Dainfern, Lonehill and Broadacres. Part of the Reddam House group within the global Inspired Education family, it opened in January 2017 and welcomes day students from age 1 to Grade 12, with boutique weekly and termly boarding for boys and girls from Grade 6. The school writes the IEB National Senior Certificate.

Often described as “a country school in the city,” Reddam House Helderfontein makes the most of its natural surroundings along the Jukskei River – with walking trails and mountain-bike tracks – to deliver experiential, outdoor learning alongside a rigorous academic programme. A Reggio Emilia-inspired Nursery School, a child-centred and individualised approach, small classes (capped at around 25), specialist subject teaching (including English, French and Spanish) and immersive technologies all support each student’s growth. Academic results are excellent: 2025 IEB candidates achieved a 100% Bachelor’s pass rate with numerous A- and B-aggregates and subject distinctions, supported by dedicated university and careers guidance.

The campus offers world-class facilities, including a high-performance Sports Centre with a heated Olympic-sized pool and learn-to-swim pool, a multi-purpose arena with cricket nets, and a Creative and Performing Arts faculty with drama, dance and music studios.
